Our Factory

In 2012, Elephantito opened its own shoe factory in Lima, Peru. Built from the ground up and equipped with Italian shoemaking machinery.

Owning our factory gives us something rare in children’s footwear: complete control over how every Elephantito shoe is made.

From selecting our leathers and materials to cutting, stitching, construction and finishing, the entire shoemaking process is managed by us. This direct approach allows us to maintain the quality, precision and craftsmanship behind every pair.

Italian machinery brings consistency and technical precision to the process, while skilled craftsmanship gives each shoe its character and finish. It is this combination of technology and handwork that defines the way Elephantito shoes are made.

Every Elephantito shoe is made under responsible working conditions. Our employees receive fair pay, social security, paid leave and maternity benefits as part of our commitment to the people behind our product.
