How to Measure at Home

All you need is a sheet of paper, a pencil and a ruler. It takes two minutes.

1

Stand on paper

Have your child stand on a sheet of paper on a flat, hard surface, with weight on both feet.

2

Mark heel and toe

Draw a straight line behind the heel and another at the tip of the longest toe.

3

Measure the distance

Measure between the two lines to find the foot length. Repeat for both feet and use the longer one.

4

Match to the chart

Find the size whose recommended foot length covers your measurement.

Measure in the afternoon

Feet swell a little through the day, so an afternoon or evening measurement gives the most accurate fit.

Leave room to wiggle

The recommended foot lengths already allow space beyond the longest toe. Toes should move freely inside the shoe.

Between sizes?

Size up. Natural leather molds gently to the foot with wear, and a little extra room keeps the fit comfortable for longer.

Check the fit again

Children's feet grow quickly. Re-measure every two to three months to stay a step ahead.
